If you need to add some lemon flavor to a dish, Lemon Thyme is the herb to add. This variety is a perennial that’s grown in zones 5 through nine in spring with full sun. Soil, when growing lemon thyme, needs to be well-drained and slightly dry. All plants grow to be 12 inches tall, and 12 inches should be between each plant, unless you use containers instead.
