Farmer Phil's Better Belle Pepper

Better Belle Pepper

Better Belle peppers combine the shape of a typical bell pepper with a thicker-walled fruit. Fruits tend to be in the four to five inches long range. As a hybrid, these peppers grow like any ordinary bell varieties, with warmer temperatures, sun, and plenty of water all needed. All plants, when being added to your garden, should be spaced 18 inches apart and in rows with 30 inches in between.

Our suggestions for growing this type of pepper are:

Harvest: 65 days.
Exposure: Full sun.
Water Needs: Water when soil dries. Do not keep roots wet.
Fertilizer: Fertilize at planting and again when plant starts to flower.
